Italian lakes lure holidayers and investors

Buy Association has advised investors to watch out for holiday homes Lakes Garda and Como are great options for tourists. This region is so popular among holidayers and property prices rise more quickly than most other parts of Italy.

However despite the higher price tag purchasing a holiday home on the Lakes Garda and Como is a good investment because prices have increased over in the recent years and they remained unwavering even when the real estate market recorded a notable dip in other places.

Lake Como, just a half-hour's drive from Milan and close proximity to Venice makes this region highly accessible for tourists. These are within easy reach of international transport links. The property rental market is developing well in Italy, thanks to the arrival of the low-cost airlines.

Paul Collins, property editor at BuyAssociation has said that transportation and easy accessibility is big areas of concern for overseas property investors. Even though the capital gain for property investors is excellent, many investors are looking to buy holiday homes for the love of Italy.

Expedia.co.uk has found that Venice is one of the most popular places for honeymooners and a great romantic escape for couples. So even in quieter seasons the rental income in this region would be substantially good.
